The Best Coast album is coming out on Tuesday, and they just wrapped up their Pitchfork appearance last weekend. Anybody up in Chicago last weekend catch the set?

I like these people, and  I like this music. Here is a little bit of both.

I never get tired of this song. So many good memories of my youth revolve around listening to this album. My friend Shane and I drove around the day after a party with this CD. Neither one of us bought it, at the time… we just found it in the CD player and let it ride. The CD had cool pictures on it, but no band name, or album title or anything else. It took us a few days to figure out what the heck it was, but when we did, we encouraged everyone else we knew to buy it. It was the summer of Brad. I went on to buy everything else the ever put out, and they never disappointed. Good stuff.
