This makes me feel really old, but cult classic The Goonies is 25 years old! Holy crap.
This is an actual deleted scene from the movie, and will be included on the Blu Ray release to mark the anniversary. And, rumor has it, a long awaited sequel is in the works, featuring much of the original cast. I’ll believe it when I see it!

Blitzen Trapper’s new album, “Destroyer of the Void,” is coming out this Tuesday, June 8th! Their 2008 album “Furr” and their 2009 release “Black River Killer EP” were both in heavy rotation for me last year, and this new album promises to be more of the same goodness. It’s been too long since I’ve heard this song, and this remake is kinda hypnotizing.
Girl Crisis is a Brooklyn-based, all-female cover band, including musicians Leah Carey, Heather D’Angelo, Erika Spring Forster, Elizabeth Harper, Annie Hart, Jane Herships, Jessica Lauretti, Caroline Polachek, and Molly Shea. They perform (mostly) a cappella versions of random songs, all while being filmed on super 8 film. I’ve heard these videos described as moving Polaroid pictures. See for yourself.
