This album just sounds amazing to me. I have tried so hard to like Sparklehorse for about 10 years, but I always ended up a little bored. But with “it” producer Danger Mouse and David Lynch thrown into the mix, there is a little extra layer of ambiance (I can’t really describe it any better than that – just listen!) that keeps me interested.
If Sparklehorse has spent all these years trying to get my 15 bucks, then I guess they’ve finally figured it out!
“Dark Night of the Soul” comes out on Tuesday.
