This is too cool. Ed Fries (former vice president of Microsoft’s Game Publishing Division) decided that he would code an old school version of the mega-popular game Halo in the style on an old school Atari game. The result, titled Halo 2600, is exactly what you think it is… a boxy, 8 bit feeling version of the first person shooter.
A few lucky people actually got cartridges(!) of this coolness, but the rest of us will have to settle for playing it here.
