Anyway, James McCartney’s debut EP, “Available Light,” is due out on September 21. Surprisingly enough, most of it was recorded at Abbey Road Studios. Go figure.

Gary, Indiana represent!! Freddie Gibbs is on fire right now, and he’s getting some much deserved attention. This dude has been working his ass off, and it shows- he’s blazing up the internet right now. This song is definitely one of his best, as he maintains his “street-tough” image (read: thuggish) but really comes with an overall sound even the truest “hip-hop” fan (read: snob) can feel. I tried to get on board with some of the earlier stuff, but it was too all over the place for me… it seems like this song has him turning a corner. I expect big things.
