Oranje 2010: Remixed

Oranje 2010: Remixed by Dusty Fingertips

Here it is, our labor of love- compliments of Mike B., OhBeOne, Helicon, and all of the fine folk involved in Oranje 2010!

A special shout out to OttO Vector, Mic Sol & A.C.E. O.N.E., Andy D. and Beta Male. Without you all, none of this would have been possible!

See you on Saturday at Oranje 2010!

A quick preview of Oranje 2010: Remixed

First up is my take on OttO Vector’s “Charlie Mix.” A little downtempo, hip-hoppiness I like to call the “Mike B.’s Heart Beats Slow Remix.” Hear it. Download it. Love it.

And of course, what would any Oranje Remix CD be without the dynamic trio of Andy D., Mike B. and OhBeOne? A classic cut that’s back for more…

Freddie Gibbs – “Oil Money”

Gary, Indiana represent!! Freddie Gibbs is on fire right now, and he’s getting some much deserved attention. This dude has been working his ass off, and it shows- he’s blazing up the internet right now. This song is definitely one of his best, as he maintains his “street-tough” image (read: thuggish) but really comes with an overall sound even the truest “hip-hop” fan (read: snob) can feel. I tried to get on board with some of the earlier stuff, but it was too all over the place for me… it seems like this song has him turning a corner. I expect big things.
